About the Aputure STORM XT52

The Aputure STORM XT52 is a very high-power point-source LED spotlight delivering maximum output of 5,200W with modulable white and color spectrum. Equipped with the innovative BLAIR light engine (Blue / Lime / Amber / Indigo / Red), it delivers cinema-grade white light with an extended CCT range of 2,500K to 10,000K, precise green (+/- Green) adjustment, and indigo emitters enabling reproduction of natural daylight or tungsten source fluorescence.

The STORM XT52 is presented as the most powerful point-source LED in the industry, even surpassing 6,000W HMI spotlights, with light intensity of 48,000 lux at 5 meters with the 35° reflector. It covers over 70 % of Rec.2020 color space via HSIC+ and x,y modes, enabling saturated hues without gel filters: sodium ambers, deep reds, or subtle effects.

Available in two configurations (standard version or with double fly case), this spotlight combines extreme power, color flexibility, and portability, all in an IP65 fully sealed chassis.

The STORM XT52 is IP65 certified, enabling outdoor use in rain or dusty environments. Its control box is light (13kg) and compact, staying on the ground while the head (27.7kg) is rigged overhead via an extendable cable up to 45 meters.

STORM XT52 in fixed studio

In a studio environment, it offers precise control via Limited HSIC+, xy, or standard CCT, ideal for colored ambiences without gel. The system can run at full power on 6,500W generators, industry standard.

STORM XT52 for rigging or crane work

The head cable modularity (7.5m original, up to 45m in daisy chain) allows placing the head in a condor or crane while controlling from the ground — avoiding top-weight overload.
