Introducing the Amaran 60d S

The Amaran 60d S is an ultra-compact 65W daylight LED projector with Bowens mount featuring integrated controls and an improved LED chip for better color quality.

With a new dual-blue-LED chip, the COB 60x S improved its reproduction with an SSI (D56) of 96, a 19% improvement over its predecessor. The COB 60d S’s enhanced color precision is also visible in increased CRI [96], TLCI [99], TM-30 RF [96], and TM-30 RG [100] values. With a size as compact as a camera, the COB 60x S houses a powerful LED that produces over 37,800 lux at 1 meter when paired with the corresponding Hyper Reflector (Mini). It features an intuitive LCD screen and control interface (buttons), allowing brightness adjustment in 1% increments and easy preset switching. Via integrated Sidus Mesh technology, the COB 60x S can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link app, providing access to extended intuitive controls and 8 lighting effects including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, and Explosion.

Equipped with a standard-size universal Bowens mount, the compact COB 60d S is compatible with the broadest modifier selection on the market, including the Light Box 45×45, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern, making it an incredibly versatile multi-tool.
