The SmallRig Lightweight Baseplate with Dual 15mm Rod Clamp (Magnesium Alloy Version) 3067 is made from magnesium-aluminum alloy, making it approximately 40% lighter than traditional aluminum alloys. It was designed to work with the 3065 magnesium alloy cage and guarantee a distance of 85mm between the center of the lens and the center of the rods. It also comes with a removable pad to adjust the height according to filming needs.
The base of the 3067 features a standard Arri quick release plate interface and features numerous 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes for versatile use. While ensuring quick assembly and disassembly, it can also be used with other quick release plates of different specifications. On top is the standard Manfrotto quick release board interface, which allows for quick assembly and disassembly of equipment, and also provides the ability to quickly switch to stabilizer shooting.
The 3067 baseplate is equipped with a double clamp for 15mm rods, making it easy to mount accessories such as follow focuses, matte boxes and rails. This design ensures maximum stability and avoids any unwanted movement when shooting.
