The SmallRig “Rhino” Advanced Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III 3710 is designed to reduce strain on arms, increase stability and provide accessory attachment points. The kit includes a cage, top handle, side handle and HDMI cable clamp. The cage and both grips are portable because they are made of lighter carbon fiber, which allows for longer handheld shooting. For the cage, a locator pin, a 1/4″-20 screw and an M2.5 screw lock the camera firmly. It features a sleek design that allows full access to the top buttons. The top handle is comfortable to hold and allows for low-angle photography; the side handle, made of lightweight carbon fiber and PU leather, provides a nice and firm grip. The HDMI cable clamp, tightened with a flat head screw, protects the interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Additionally, the kit comes with 1/4″-20 threaded holes for the 3873 Magic Arm, cold shoe mounts for the microphone, LED video light, and 3/8″-16 ARRI locating holes for the 2914 side handle. A NATO rail and Arca-Swiss quick release plate add versatility to the cage. In particular, the Arca-Swiss plate allows for quick switching between handheld, tripod and gimbal shooting modes (DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro).
