SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage for Sony FX3 / FX30 4772 is designed to protect the camera and provide accessory mounting points. The modular cage consists of a top plate (NATO rail) and an L-shaped cage. The NATO rail is attached to the top via two 1/4″-20 screws and can be removed to install the original XLR top handle; the L-shaped cage is attached with a 1/4″-20 screw on the left side and bottom to prevent movement, with an anti-scratch pad. The patented quick release structure (named HawkLock) developed in-house covers the cold shoe, NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate. It is used in combination with HawkLock eco-friendly accessories, such as 4483 top handle, 4485 side handle, 4486 Arca-Swiss clamp, etc., to achieve smooth sliding and automatic locking to improve disassembly and reassembly efficiency. At the same time, it is compatible with traditional eco-friendly accessories such as cold shoe clamp, NATO clamp and Arca-Swiss clamp. Additionally, the cage features built-in 1/4″-20 threaded holes, an ARRI 3/8″-16 locating hole, 1/4″-20 locating holes, a QD socket, and a strap slot, and can be expanded with accessories such as Magic Arm 3873, Top Handle 2165C, Rod Clamp 3598, QD Shoulder Strap, Hand Strap 3848, and Shoulder Strap PSC2428 for professional creation. A magnetic wrench is also included for easy assembly and disassembly.
