Smallrig Cage for Sony FX30 / FX3 4183 (new version 4138)

The SmallRig cage for Sony FX30 / FX3 4183 is designed to protect the camera and provide mounting points for accessories. This modular cage is composed of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is attached on top using two 1/4″-20 screws and can be removed to install the XLR handle original; The U-shaped cage is secured with 1/4″-20 screws on the sides and base to prevent twisting, with a pad to prevent scratching. At the battery door, an articulating arm contours to the curvature of the camera for improved pinky grip. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Among the many accessory mounting points, 1/4″-20 holes are provided to support the Magic Arm 2070; ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes attach the 2165C Top Handle or 2903B Monitor Mount; the upper NATO rail is compatible with the 3322 Top Handle and the left rail is compatible with the 2187B Side Handle; 1/4″-20 locating holes in the upper left quarter and left side attach the 3598 Rod Clamp for follow focus; two 1/4″-20 holes on the right side allow secure attachment to a quick release plate for shooting in vertical mode; the cold shoe supports a microphone or LED light; and the QD port at the bottom allows for attaching a QD strap. An Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom can be directly attached to DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals or with a quick release plate (height increase pad) for DJI RS 2 gimbals / RSC 2 and an Arca Type Quick Release Plate 3154. The sides and base have holes for the 3848 Hand Strap and the PSC2428 Shoulder Strap. A magnetic key is also included for easy assembly and disassembly.
