The SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7C 3081B is designed to provide mounting points for accessories such as monitors, microphones and LED lights during professional video shooting. The cage attaches to the camera using a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom. To prevent twisting, you can also use the side lock by pushing the slider up and attaching the small screw attached to the camera strap location.
The cage has multiple 1/4”-20 threaded holes and 3/8”-16 ARRI locating holes, allowing mounting of the 2165 Top Handle, 2879 Cold Shoe Extension, and BUT2664 Tripod for grips of vlog views. The built-in cold shoe at the top fits microphones and LED lights, and the built-in Arca-type quick release plate at the bottom fits DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro stabilizers for quick switching between a handheld shooting and stabilizer shooting. Additionally, there is a magnetic screwdriver built into the bottom of the cage for easy use.
