The RØDE VideoMic Pro is a reference shotgun microphone, ideal for videographers seeking exceptional sound quality. Designed for camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders, it delivers broadcast-quality audio thanks to an innovative 1/2″ condenser capsule. Its 3,5mm mini-jack connector delivers a mono signal to both left and right channels, with a remarkably low self-noise of just 14dB. The super-cardioid polar pattern minimises ambient noise, focusing the recording on the main subject.
The integrated Rycote® Lyre® mount provides superior isolation from external noise and vibration, thanks to its durable thermoplastic construction that won’t crumble and retains its properties over time. Behind the mic, you’ll find convenient controls for power, filtering and level adjustment, including an 80 Hz high-pass filter and attenuation/amplification settings. Perfect for a variety of situations, from recording concerts to interviews.
The VideoMic Pro easily attaches to your camera using a standard 3/8″ threaded mount for versatile mounting. Powered by a 9V battery, it provides up to 70 hours of recording time.
